Sol Habitat is a woman-owned business. We specialize in alternative building, energy efficiency and owner/builder consulting. Sol Habitat's founder, Lori Leyrer, has 20 years experience in all phases of construction from traditional to straw-bale construction to fine finish carpentry. The bale raising in Placerville this summer was a great success and lots of fun. Enjoy the slideshow! You can do it!
